Sugar beet contains approximately 80% of water and 20% of sugar.
In a way, the beet is the sugar factory. The combination of sun, light and moisture allows the sugar cells in the sugar beet to grow. After a growth period of 6 to 8 months, it is time to extract the sugar from the beet. What is left in the end, is 100% natural sugar.
